During a deed search you may fail to locate the deed for your ancestor. A location that is often overlooked are the Provincial Court Deeds. While a person had many deeds within a county the one your looking for may be located here. Provincial Court was utilized more by the wealthy than others. Even so the wealthy had land dealings with the lower class that had to be addressed.
