Monocacy Manor 1781 Confiscated British Property Sale

As a result of the Revolutionary War all lots on Monocacy Manor were confiscated. In 1781 these lots were sold with the majority going to United States Army officers with the rank of captain to general for services during the war. The lots were then surveyed and a patent obtained by the new owners. The list also provides the names of the final tenant farmers on Monocacy Manor.
