Frederick Town (Frederick County) Original Lot Owners 1748-1782

Frederick Town (Frederick County Maryland) Original Lot Owners 1748-1783. Records were obtained from Frederick & Prince Georges County Maryland Deed Books. Format of the records is by lot number and 2nd by lot owners along with occupation if listed. Many lots were still vacant up until the end of the American Revolution. When the lots were sold by Daniel Dulany or his representative the family retained ground rents. Lots were confiscated by the State at the end of the war. It appears the the original owners lost any right to the property. They could have repurchased the lots but the number who did is unknown.

Refer to 1782 Plat of Frederick Town: Surveyed by Samuel Duvall at the request of Clement Holliday (Commissioner) for the State of Maryland posted 15 November 2018.
