Jacob Honaker Farm has its origins in the tracts Mount Pleasant and Resurvey on Part of Hazel Thickett. The parcels that make up the Honaker property were first surveyed for Jacob Honaker in 1758 and 1761. Jacob Honaker sold the land (121 acres) in 1765 to Frederick Eyson and moved to Virginia.
