Anne Arundel Manor (10,000 acres) was patented to Charles Calvert in 1669 (Patent Book 16-626). Any early lot maps or tenant list would be in the possession of the manor owner. When the lots were sold a deed or patent was then issued. The information attached begins with the 1767 plat copied by Arthur Trader in 1920 from a copy by John Shepherd which shows lots by number and tract name. A link to the 1767 plat is located on page 1 for reference. The location of the lots and patents on Google Earth are approximate locations. For the lots along the Patuxent River take into consideration the amount of silting that has taken place over the centuries. At one time cargo sailing ships were able to travel much further of the river to deliver goods and transport tobacco. Lot owner and tenant list was obtained from Maryland Records Colonial, Revolutionary, County, Church From Original Sources; Vol. 2 Page 17 Brumbaugh, Gaius Marcus, 1928.
